Mostly for Ramon

These pictures are for you, Ramon. I framed the watercolors we got in Taxco and hung them in our living room last week! They look awesome!

Rico's First Day of School

Just a quick picture to show you our BIG boy, ready for his first day of preschool! He had a great day! Mommy cried in the car and found the whole experience a little traumatizing, however, RICO WAS JUST FINE! FUN!

Slumber Party With Good Friends

Saturday evening we spent the night at the McFarlands. I enjoyed a massage by Katie, while the kids made popcorn and watched a movie. We all made our own homemade pizzas. Stu enjoyed showing the kids the RACE CAR he is building in the garage, and we watched another movie after dinner. The boys slept in the "Montana" room (decorated with all things Montana :)) Elly slept in the "Massage" room. And Rico and I slept in the "Exercise/Quilting" room. SO FUN! In the morning, we awoke to a yummy french toast breakfast. What a great time! THANK YOU TO THE MCFARLANDS for taking on the Salgado Herd!

Spring Planting

Yesterday, the kids and I "weeded" the back hill. I wish we had taken before and after pictures. As many of you know, the hill becomes a jungle of weeds in the winter. Now, it is clean and ready for planting. Also, my good friend Dena came and helped me plant new flowers and plants. I can hardly wait to sit in the backyard and enjoy our little private oasis.

Visiting Daddy in Mexico

In Taxco

Sorry, my pictures got out of order. These flyers go with the man up above.

Inside the National Museum of Anthropology

Half way up the pyramid. Of course, Rico had to go potty. Luckily being a boy came in handy and he was able to go off the other side. : )
Resting at the top. WHEW! I can't believe we made it to the top!
Coming down!
Looking up!

Meeting Rico after he traveled through the tunnel.
Going through the tunnel.
"OK! I will stop for a picture! There will never be another time when I will be small enough to fit through these tunnels."
Down in front of the Pyramid of the Sun with Grandma Theresa.
Do you think we can really climb to the top?

Riding the bus out to the pyramids.

Wrestling with new best friends! Cousins Geraldine, Johann, and Shirley. Rico LOVED playing with them and eating Grandma Theresa's candy.

Building where Ramon lived while growing up. The blue box in front was their Tamale Stand. He and all of his cousins got up each morning to sell Tamales and Gorditas with their Grandma.

Fun at the park across the street from Ramon's childhood home.
